The GTR 20 Comm radio offers pilots an ideal solution for a clear, powerful communication radio and intercom, all controlled from a G3X Touch display.

More Than Just a Comm

Designed specifically for G3X Touch equipped aircraft, GTR 20 combines powerful Comm capabilities with advanced workload-reducing features formerly found only in high-end radios. Its remote design allows you to make the most of limited space in your panel while its 10 W transmit power helps ensure solid communications between you and ATC or other aircraft in your vicinity. GTR 20 offers 25 kHz channel spacing and uses a standard density 37-pin connector for easy installation.

Full-featured Audio

Going above and beyond the call of duty of a traditional Comm, GTR 20 includes a 2-place stereo intercom that is ideal for 2-seat aircraft; no additional hardware is required to communicate with your passenger. Advanced auto squelch automatically senses the noise level in the cockpit and adjusts the mic squelch for effortless intercom use regardless of the cockpit noise level. 3D Audio capability separates the active and standby frequencies in your headset so it’s easier to differentiate between sources.

Touchscreen Control

The G3X Touch interface allows access to emergency frequency tuning, pilot audio isolation, saved frequencies list, music mute or push-to-talk, while FastFind suggests airports using your current GPS location, so you can quickly look up and tune frequencies. Plus, optional installed remote switches on the flight controls allow pilots to keep their hands on the controls while performing functions such as swapping the active and standby frequencies.

Crystal-clear Standby Monitoring

With its standby frequency monitoring feature, the GTR 20 Comm radio gives you the ability to listen to ATIS while monitoring ATC. Swapping your active and standby frequencies is completed through the G3X Touch display or optionally installed switches on the controls. Even in single-radio aircraft, you’ll no longer have to worry about missing an ATC call or other critical transmission.

Frequency Identification

Know exactly to whom you’re talking with GTR 20. The G3X Touch display will display the facility name and type when you are tuning frequencies manually using the dedicated G3X Touch display knobs or using touchscreen features such as FastFind.

Have a Question?

  • I currently fly with a GTR 200B. I love the bluetooth capability. I'm thinking of upgrading my entire panel and cleaning up the panel by going with a GTR 20 which I see has a "stereo music input." If I have an audio jack on the panel and plug my phone in and play music, will the GTR 20 lower the music volume when there is talking on the radio or intercom just like my trusty old GRT 200B? Thanks Ken

You are able to configure the Com to mute the music when receiving radio calls or intercom. The configurations are listed in the pilot's guides.

  • I currently have a GTR-200B. Is there an equivalent remote mount radio with blue tooth? Thanks

Unfortunately, there is no option for Bluetooth on the remote units at this time.
