DESCRIPTION
CI 119 VHF Communications
Designed for large single or twin-engine aircraft. The antenna assembly is enclosed in an aerodynamically shaped, injection molded polyester glass shell with internal components foamed in place for mechanical integrity. Reduced height convenient for mounting to the underside of an aircraft. The CI 119 has been re-tested and upgraded to the new RTCA DO-160D environmental requirements and offers the 118 to 137 MHz frequency associated with DO-186 MOPS.
Comant’s four internal hole mount blade style VHF communication antenna with offset BNC port. Equivalent to the CI 138, CI 139 and CI 196 expect for variations to BNC location and hold pattern. Suitable for either top or bottom mounting with both light and heavy fixed wing single / multiengine and helicopter aircraft.
Applications
Single and twin engine piston aircraft for applications. This antenna design features an offset connector. Consult your FBO or installation shop for best application information.
