SSD-120 w/ RS 232 Output
The Trans-Cal SSD120 is the world's smallest, lightest altitude encoder and is all solid state. It is TSO'd to C88 requirements, compatible with all transponders and is certified to 30,000 feet. The SSD120 is a pin-for-pin replacement for most other manufacturer™s encoders and is available with an optional adapter plate that will allow the installer to mount the unit in another manufacturer™s mounting tray. The SSD120-RS232 has an additional 9 pin RS232 serial data port allowing altitude interfaces to other avionics.
