During the Xbox Games Showcase 2023, Microsoft surprised us with multiple big announcements. Two of them are about Microsoft's Flight Simulator. The first announcement is a crossover collaboration with Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures. This Dune expansion will let the players to explore the planet of Arrakis and to fly an Ornithopter. The DLC is set to be released in November of this year along with Dune Part 2. The expansion will be free for PC users and Xbox Series X and S users.
The second announcement of the event brought even more excitement to all of the enthusiasts of the legendary franchise. A trailer for the next generation version of the game was released and it showed significant additions. Some of these additions are experimental flights, hot air balloon trips, skydive aviation, executive transport service, agricultural aviation, helicopter cargo transport, air racing, glider pilot, vip charter service, and more giving pilots the opportunity to fly every aircraft they've dreamt of. The next generation of Microsoft Flight Simulator will be available on Xbox Series X and S and PC in 2024.
