Garmin GTN 750
The New Garmin GTN 750 from Gulf Coast Avionics is the most preferred in affordable, feature rich, and quality GPS/NAV/COMM multifunction display systems. With features such as graphical flight planning, terrain mapping, air traffic viewing, detailed geo-referenced charting, satellite weather reporting and tons more this system is perfect for any aircraft. View all of the GTN 750 features on the huge 6 inch tall touchscreen display that allows for easy access menu options, quick and effortless navigation, and high detailed graphics.
The Garmin GTN 750 features a 6.9 inch TFT touchscreen display that is clear, bright and pilot friendly. The touchscreen display system allows maps, menus, and many other capabilities of the GTN 750 to be scrolled across the screen with just a swipe of a finger. Built into the GTN 750's display is a full on-screen keyboard which allows waypoints and other hand entered data to be quickly and accurately entered. Raised bevels on the sides of the unit allow for pilots to have hand holds for getting accurate selections on screen when in either smooth or turbulent weather. For pilots that prefer the standard twist knobs they are still available and allow for fast menu navigation. The touchscreen and capabilities of the GTN 750 make navigation simple while offering US Flight Charts, and optional Jeppesen-style geo-referenced ChartView for accurate approach procedures. Also with Garmin SafeTaxi, the Garmin GTN 750 lets you see geo-referenced runways, taxiways, FBO's, and hangars. Terrain mapping with the GTN 750 allows pilots to get high quality maps and views on the large 6.9 inch touchscreen display. By adding a GDL 69 Series datalink receiver, the NEXRAD radar can be placed right over the moving display. Adding on the Garmin Traffic System to the GTN 750 can pinpoint other aircraft in the area as well.
The Garmin GTN 750 has a 15 channel GPS receiver that generates five position updates per second. This enables the aircraft to fly GPS guided LPV glidepath instrument approaches down to an incredible 200 feet. The GTN 750 also comes standard with complete VHF navigation capabilities with a 200 channel VOR/ILS with localizer and glidescope. When loaded with procedures the GTN 750 will preload NAV frequencies. Auto select VHF NAV source for ILS approaches are possible as well. With select autopilots, IFR flight procedures may be flown automatically including all ARINC 424 leg types (minus RF legs). An example of this is when combined with G500/G600 Flight Display the GTN 750 can fly fully coupled missed approaches including heading legs. The GTN 750 also features a fully certified 2280 channel VHF communications transceiver with either 10 watts of power or optionally 16 watts. The Garmin GTN 750 is pilot selectable to both 25 kHz and 8.33 kHz spacing. Standby and active frequencies are available as well by using the on screen keypad. In the case of emergency communication the GTN 750 adds on the ability to hold down the volume control button in order to automatically dial in emergency frequencies.
